Each day spent at The Feminine is a blessing. 🙏 No matter how big the rollercoaster can sometimes be, your messages, authentic feedback and meaningful sharing make every second worth and worthwhile.
In the previous magazine entry, I was asking for your direct input — where do you need coaching in femininity? What are you struggling with?
Opening up is where healing begins
When we shut down, we start creating a tangled narrative around the whys, the whens and the hows. But with every single line we attach to the story, we step away from truth.
Here’s a wonderful message we received last week from Dianna, in response to our call — and her story is so much about truth, healing, and opening up.
“I’ve listened to ALL the episodes of your podcast, at least three times each. They are like honey to my soul! As a practice, I started to pay closer attention to all the small things and earthlings: the flowers, the tress, the perfumes, the light.
Yet, in the past few days, even weeks, I’ve been struggling with a rather new and strange sensation — I don’t feel the urge to help anybody anymore.
At my workplace, I feel like everybody is pulling me in so many different directions, and even if I always fulfil my tasks, nobody ever says a word of appreciation. In my family, my mother, my father, my sister seem to always be expecting something from me. And each time I try to set healthy boundaries, they turn very unhappy.
As for my relationship, briefly, I feel I’m not supported by my partner.
In this setting, all I can do is stop caring. I feel like I’m shutting down on the whole world and start caring only for myself.
But I’m not happy with that. Gratitude and kindness are gifts we should always be sharing!
What’s the best thing to do?”
Well, Dianna, your story is our story too! Thank you so much for braving up and opening up.
To start with, please rest assured — the “shutting down” you are experiencing is how you perceive the realignment between you and your vital energy.
Clearly enough, you are going through a period when you start to get you power back and reconnect with your natural instinct and intuition. It’s absolutely natural to need time and space for the healing to take place. Healing can sometimes feel arduous and it asks for solitude (which is so much different from loneliness). It’s a singular process. You are re-learning how to be generous in a healthy way. And the best way to re-learn that is by showing random acts of generosity towards your own self. When the healing is over and you would have integrated your own strength, you’ll be able to show kindness and generosity towards the whole world with even more presence and impact.
Don’t be afraid to flow with your feminine energy. She works in mysterious ways, always wild and wise.
If you feel inspired, you can share your thoughts with your dear ones. But, please, make sure you are not overexposing yourself. Focus on communicating to them that the process is about honouring your needs, not about dishonouring theirs. That’s a very important distinction.
As promised, we’ll take all your questions and queries to the next level in our future podcasts, but for now you can find useful guidance in this episode of The Feminine #Uncut Podcast.
In this particular episode we discuss compassion.
What’s the link between compassion and Dianna’s sharing?
Compassion is one of the most powerful gifts of the feminine. Showing compassion for yourself is the most soothing medicine you can administrate when life takes you through all its strange ups and knotty downs.
Until next, be kind to yourself and keep on sharing YOUR inspiring stories and questions. Leave us a comment bellow and be brave, ’cause you are certainly not alone!
Namaste 🙏
